Personal Pronouns is a collage series built with women portraits and mirrors. Who am I? Who are we?. Personal identification as a result of interaction. The gaze and the reflection of the other are also parts of our identity. To express the interrelation between the variables being a migrant woman living in Berlin, and seeking to answer who I am, I made portraits of known and unknown women. They are intervened with mirrors in their eyes. Through the collage, I recreate the construction of self-identification that occurs in the interrelation. I looked through the mirrors in their eyes, namely their gaze, to see my own self.
